Drywall Gypsum Board Partition With Rockwool Insulation

Drywall gypsum board partition has emerged as the new focus to eco friendly material in homes and commercial fitting out for erection of cabins / rooms. Many architects and designers have led the industry into using dry partition walls between rooms in their projects. The constant improvement in performance for plasterboard to suit the use in projects has ensured that such wall system now meets high level specifications in the areas of acoustic insulation, thermal insulation, fire resistance and damp environment.

The basic fire rating for the selected fire rate boards comes in 1 hour - 2 hours depending on the usage. This will be specify by our Qualified Persons to meet the local Fire Safety Shelter Department code of practise and compliance. 

The drywall system is thinner than conventional brickwalls, thus creating more usable space for the homes / offices.

Provision of insulation like rockwool between the gypsum boards enhances the soundproofing and acoustic performance of drywalls. The sound transmission class (STC) value of brick or concrete walls is typically about 40. Drywalls with rockwool insulation can achieve better STC values of 45-50.

Rockwool are available in different density to achieve the designed soundproofing.

There are different type of boards to suit the required environment.  Such as boards use in toilet or to erect a fire protected compartment.
